Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Smoothie

I bought this product when I was transitioning - only applying it to the new growth and now that I have a short pixie cut which I wear as a TWA (teeny-weeny-afro) most days, this product is PERFECT. The jar is pretty big and I barely need any. When my hair is wet, I just tap my fingers in the jar and apply it all over. Then I tap again for the more kinky curly part of my hair (the crown area mostly) and it holds all day without feeling crunchy or anything. I feel like the jar will last me forever because I only tap my fingers in 2-4 times and thats all... The smell is amazing. I'm sensitive to smells and tend to get migraines easily but the scent doesn't bother me at all. Its also perfect for next day curls, I just wet them a little and then apply this the same way and I get the same results as if I just washed my hair. its the only product I use on most days after I apply my leave in, no gel - no serum, nothing.

  1. I've been looking at the reviews for Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie, most of the reviews are really good but everyone who's made a review seems to have natural hair but i have a curly perm so was wondering if the product would still be good to use in my hair? Also does anyone know of any good hair products that dont leave a greasy build up? Thanks

  2. I have curly hair when it's wet but when I brush it out it is a poofy frizzy mess. What products (preferably not too expensive) would take away some of the frizz and be good for my hair? Thanks!

  3. My natural hair i really very curly, and I've started straightening my hair with a flat iron almost every week. Since I started doing that, I've noticed a change in how curly my hair is. Im scared because i dont want my curly hair to dissapear because i love it and i only straighten it to make it easier to take care of. Any advice on how to keep it curly when its not straightened/what (cheap) products i should use to protect it?

  5. Are there any products I can use for my natural hair that will keep my hair curly instead of poofing out? I'm black by the way.
